WOODEN PREFABRICATED HOUSES PROJECT
Type and Scope of Investment
The project of wooden houses is a completely new investment and aims at developing the Eastern Black Sea Region. This project has been designed to build prefabricated structures from wood as the primary material.
Justification and Objective of Project
Through this project, the aim of Doğu Investment Holding is to gain the Eastern Black Sea Region a new and pioneering industrial activity thanks, to advance tourism in this region that is rich in forests and a paradise of natural beauties and offer an opportunity of having holiday to the people in a healthy environment. Furthermore, the project aims to sell the prefabricated wooden structures in the domestic market and export to the surrounding countries.
Place of Investment
The project will be realized in the provinces of Trabzon, Rize and Artvin in the Black Sea Region.
Project Capacity
The capacity of the project is planned as 1000 prefabricated houses of 50-400 m2 for the first year.
Employment
The project will create jobs for total 200 people; 44 of whom are the personnel and 156 workers. We plan to work with the Canadian companies that have the most advanced technology in the sector for this project and currently the talks are being resumed. It is likely that in the coming months the cooperation will be formed with a leading Canadian company and the investment will be realized.
PROJECT FOR MANUFACTURE OF DEFENSE INDUSTRY AMMUNITION
Type and Scope of Investment
This project has been planned to manufacture cartridges of 7.65 and 9 mm, and the investment will be completely new.
Justification for Project
There is significant disparity between the supply and demand of cartridges for civilian purposes in Turkey. The government-owned Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation is the only manufacturer, and this corporation imports certain parts for cartridges and assembles at its facilities. Considering the increasing export potential, a cartridge factory of economic scale to be founded may dedicate its entire capacity to export.
The goal in this project is to address to the need from the domestic market, and moreover, if necessary, to supply to the foreign markets and this way to contribute to the national economy.
Place of Investment
The project will be put into practice in the city of Erzurum in the Eastern Anatolia Region.
Project Capacity
The capacity of this project is targeted at cartridge production of 10,000,000 pieces annually for 7.65 Browning, 9 mm Luger and 380 Auto types. The capacity increase within a short period of time is also in the agenda.
Employment
Initially, the project will employ 34 personnel and 78 workers; for the later stages, 1000 people will have been hired.
Once the bureaucratic procedures are concluded for the investment project, it will be realized probably with local and foreign partners.
